Description
This erect annual herb has been cultivated for over 3,000 years, and is prized for both its pungently aromatic foliage (Cilantro) and its spicy seeds (Coriander). Both the leaves and the leafstalks are commonly used to flavor soups, salads and bean dishes in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Use the tender leaves to add a citrusy-fresh taste to salsa.
