St. Croix elm is a new and distinct American elm with good tolerance to Dutch elm disease. With a grand, vase shape and an open, spreading canopy, St. Croix promises to revitalize this well-loved shade tree. A clone from a tree in Minnesota that survived in a stand of DED-infected elms.
