Summary
The delicate, feathery foliage of Chervil adds an appealing soft texture to the landscape! This upright annual herb is similar in appearance to Parsley, but has a sweet flavor and is often used to replace Parsley in French cooking. Fresh chopped leaves can be used to flavor eggs, potatoes, and fish dishes, or whole sprigs can be used for garnishing. Mix the plant throughout annual beds or in combination containers, or pot by itself and place on deck and patios. Plant Chervil near radishes to give them a sharper flavor or lettuce to protect the leaves from ants, aphids and slugs.
